Palm Beach Opera: ‘Rigoletto’

Giuseppe Verdi’s popular 1851 tale of the jester who serves the Duke of Mantua, a legendary womanizer who sets his sights on Rigoletto’s daughter, Gilda. Russian bass-baritone Alexander Krasnov stars as the unfortunate hunchback, and American soprano Andrea Carroll is Gilda. The Indian-American tenor Alok Kumar is the Duke in a production directed by Jay Lesenger and conducted, in his house debut, by Italian conductor Antonello Allemandi.
