Symphonia Boca Raton I: Judd/Mracek

The Symphonia Boca Raton opens its season with guest conductor James Judd, welcoming the Czech violinist Jan Mracek, the 2014 winner of the Fritz Kreisler Competition. He’ll be the soloist in the Violin Concerto (in D, Op. 77) of Johannes Brahms, and also play the Mazurek (Op. 49) of Dvorak. The program also includes the Schubert Fourth Symphony (in C minor, D. 417, Tragic), and Gyorgy Ligeti’s Ramifications.
