South Florida Symphony Masterworks II: Alfonso / Smolina

Russian pianist Svetlana Smolina returns to the South Florida Symphony for a performance of the Piano Concerto No. 2 (in C minor, Op. 18) of Sergei Rachmaninov. Conductor Sebrina Maria Alfonso leads the orchestra in Rimsky-Korsakov’s Snow Maiden Suite and the Symphony No. 5 (Op. 50) of the great Danish symphonist Carl Nielsen.
