Music: It’s an early-music Saturday, if you’re so inclined, with a free concert that night by the Palm Beach Atlantic University Early Music Ensemble. Michael O’Connor’s group will tackle English music written in the period from 1300-1750, including familiar tunes such as Thomas Morley’s Now Is the Month of Maying, Thomas Tallis’ If Ye Love Me, as well as William Byrd’s setting of the Ave verum corpus. Student instrumentalists are scheduled to perform works by Handel and Purcell. The free-admission concert begins at 7:30 p.m Saturday in the DeSantis Family Chapel, at PBAU’s campus in West Palm Beach. Call 803-2970 or visit www.pba.edu for more information.
